Sprau|While I do not agree with all the conclusions as presented, there's no denying the author has laid out a precise case for asteroid impacts in the past that affected civilization and most if not all of them can be found in any folk lore.
As a Historian I knew of impacts in the past and I have seen cave drawings in France and Spain.
