My kids read this book as youngsters and have gone on to compete in Science Olympiad, including taking top 1-2 in state in botany events. Of course they have age|About the Author|Dr Gerbert Grohmann (1897-1957) was an anthroposophical botanist. He is the author of The Plant, Volumes 1 and 2 (Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association).

A stimulating description of the plant kingdom. This is an excellent source book for teachers of all grade levels. It can also be useful as a reader for children in grades 5 and up. Illustrated.
